ON THIS PAGE: Emergency Phones, Cellphone Detectors

Are you STILL using those antique pull boxes around town for the public to report a fire? We're all too familiar with the problems of those pull boxes: can't get parts, broken wires in the circuit are hard to find, and worst of all there is no communication between the person activating the box and your dispatcher. Well, there is a better way!
The Emergency Phone is a vandal resistant unit that can be used in place of your pull boxes. Each phone connects to a telephone line and does not require any other power. When the button is pushed, a call is placed to your dispatcher and he or she is able to carry on a conversation with the person via a built-in speakerphone.
When ordering your Emergency Phone (EP), specify surface or flush mount style.

A perfect fit for hospitals
There are many dangers associated with using cellular phones in high-risk areas: malfunction of sensitive life support equipment, electronic interference with airline and power plant equipment, even illegal activity stemming from unmonitored cellular calls in prisons, banks, or casinos.
To prevent danger from unauthorized cell
phone use, the Cellphone Detector Plus detects
mobile phones and two-way radio transmissions. When detected, it broadcasts an
audible alarm of a series of tones followed by a voice message requested the
cell phone user to stop using his or her communication device. The unit can also
remotely notify another device (i.e. guard station, remote paging terminal) via
its alarm output jack.
The Cellphone Detector Plus can be powered by batteries or a plug-in AC adapter. No installation is required.
"The Cellphone Detectors act as automatic policemen. Although there are notices all around the hospital telling people that cell phones cannot be used, there are people who don't follow the rules." - user at Poole Hospital
