The TrafficMaster 7000 is used by emergency vehicles to safely pass through any intersection controlled by a light. Simply press a button on the dash of the vehicle and the TM-7000 transmits a command to the traffic signal to give you a priority green light.
The TM-7000 was designed with small communities in mind. It provides the basic features of the more expensive pre-emption systems at a fraction of the price.

The TM7000 is designed for use in small towns with only one or two intersections to control
It is a wireless device that doesn't require licensing to use
The TM-7000 works best in a vehicle that passes through an intersection from the same direction each time (such as fire apparatus responding to an alarm)
The intersection must utilize a traffic signal that can accept pre-emption programming
Approval must be obtained from the controlling agency (i.e. DOT, DPW, etc.) before installing any pre-emption device.

"Creating a Hole in the Road"
Right Of Way systems (ROW) are
designed to alert and stop the flow of
traffic allowing you to quickly enter the
roadway by simply creating a break in the flow of traffic. ROW systems are radio
controlled and can be activated by a control box in the station, or via a
handheld remote control.
Once the ROW is activated, the center amber signal will begin flashing. After the steady flashing sequence, the amber signal will illuminate steady for five seconds. Next, the two outer red signals will flash in a wig-wag pattern for 30 seconds as the emergency vehicle exits or enters the station.
Outside wiring is NOT required for the ROW, as it is 100% energy independent, using solar energy and battery power.
